Wrigley Field opened as Weeghman Park and was host to the Chicago Federal League baseball team called the Chicago Whales. It was called Cubs Park from 1920 to 1926 and then renamed Wrigley Field. It became the home of the Cubs in 1916 and it was home of the Chicago Bears (NFL) between 1921 and 1970. Features of Wrigley include outfield walls covered in ivy, rooftop seats and a manual scoreboard. It did not install lights until 1988. Wrigley Field is highly recognized for its main entry which features a large red marquee with white letters that say “Wrigley Field, Home of Chicago Cubs”.
